Tracking issue detected: what does that message mean?

Our daily check found that calls or forms stopped recording. Ads keep running and leads keep arriving. Only the reporting is affected.

It's usually a website update that removed our code, or an outage at Google. We fix it and send a "tracking restored" message. No ad spend is lost.
